So I just watched the Walking Dead Season 10 Episode 22 named “Heres Negan” and I have a few thoughts I wanted to share, this post may contain spoilers so please be prepared for those.

I love Negan! who doesn’t? First of all he is played by one of my fave all time actors Jeffrey Dean Morgan whom I have a huge crush on (cos lets face it he’s delicious right?). I was really looking forward to the Negan episode of The Walking Dead cos its got a bit boring, I have found these last batch of episodes tedious and really drawn out. So I saw all the preview clips of this Negan episode and thought ok, I am gonna love him more but turns out I hate how they have tried to actually make us fall in love with him when he’s obviously always kind of been a bad boy. There was no need to show me how soppy he was over his wife, we all knew how he became to be so heartless when this was revealed about his wife dying of cancer a good few seasons ago when he was locked in with the priest. I didn’t need to know he was a cheater, or a high school gym teacher, a protective husband and a bit of a limp biscuit when it came to bashing in those zombies and I kinda didn’t wanna know that. I really didn’t like the depiction of him in this throwback, I would much prefer them to man him up again and get him bashing some skulls. Negan is one of those baddies we love to hate and need to have that bit of interest in the show.

I hope after the ending to the episode where Maggie gives him the evil eye and Carol says she is gonna try and kill him if he stays, that this is gonna spark the Negan we know and love and give the show a kick up the butt. I do hope he gets to Maggie first though as she’s the most dreary depressing character and there was no need for her to return. Where as we love Negan, his humour and sarcasm makes him too much fun for the show for them to kill him off.
